Covers decorated with a gilt chain-link roll with fleurons of gilt vases incorporating a central octagonal cream morocco onlay, dissected in gilt and decorated with gilt flames, flowers, stars, leaves, and petals within a circular border; flat spine with similar gilt tooling, title in gilt direct in second compartment; board edges and turn-ins gilt; gutter strengthened in red morocco; black, gold, green, white, and salmon splash-marbled endpapers. Wear to top of spine. All edges gilt. A very good copy.
