With separate scales of precedence for men and ladies, rules of precedence, and a full listing of peers of the realm giving their relative precedence. The scale on page 3 gives a high precedence to the Lord Mayor, following only the Royal Family and Ambassadors. However a note records that this precedence ‘is local’ and does not extend beyond the precincts of the city’. It goes on to note that the the Viceregal Lodge is not within these precincts. Printed for internal use only (colophon indicates only 509 copies were printed).
