Archivally mounted and framed within a gilt-lined black frame, glazed; A lively pencil study by Jack Butler Yeats, depicting a lone figure, possibly a market vendor or traveller beside a cart or stall, with loosely indicated background figures and structures. The drawing displays Yeats’s confident, free line and characteristic economy of form, conveying atmosphere and movement with minimal strokes. Overall size 265 x 320mm.
