Sewn into printed Rossi Medieval Chant wrappers evoking early Gregorian notation. Limited edition of 100 numbered copies, signed by the author, of which 25 were reserved for The Center for Book Arts. This copy is No. 27, signed Eavan Boland on the colophon. A fine, crisp copy in flawless chant-printed wrappers.
Issued to mark the occasion of a reading by Eavan Boland at the Center for Book Arts, New York City, 29 April 2000, where she served as judge of the Fourth Annual Poetry Chapbook Competition. A beautifully produced fine press item honouring one of Ireland’s foremost poets, whose work bridged myth, womanhood, and national identity.
