London: Simkin, Marshall ... and Tegg, 1856. 12mo. Bound in full crimson morocco, covers elaborately decorated in gilt to a floral and panel design. Spine divided into six panels by five raised bands, title in gilt direct in the second, the remainder elaborately tooled in gilt; cream endpapers; red and gold endbands; purple silk marker. Decorative bookplate of WGS on front pastedown. A near fine copy in a superb binding. Very rare.
