Bound in naive full morocco binding with coloured onlays of red, yellow, blue, green, grey, and brown, depicting coach and sedan, title in gilt direct along spine; fleur-de-lys and three dots in gilt; chequered red and green hand-made endpapers; red and gold endbands. Bookplate of Knobel on front pastedown and his signature on front free endpaper. An attractive copy.

The original 1636 edition was published anonymously. Entered in the Stationers' register for Feb. 9, 1636, as written by Henry Peacham.[L2 Alt 1C]
