A history of the old mail coach road of north Dublin, and particularly that section from Dublin to Drogheda that traverses Fingal. Includes such luminaries as Cuchulainn, Colm Cille, Brian Boru, Silken Thomas, Shane O’Neill, Red Hugh O’Donnell, Hugh O’Neill, Cromwell, James the Second, The Men of ‘98, James Stephens, Parnell and the Black and Tans.
