Loeber O8/3. Comic epistolary fiction set in County Tipperary in the 1870s - 1880s. The letters are written ostensibly from the nationalist, Catholic point of view and strike out at Protestants, landlords, and the English government. However, the stories gently ridicule the power of the priest, the Catholic religion, the Land League and Irish political figures.
