A rare and highly localised G.A.A. publication, comprising the Bye-Laws passed at a meeting of the Limerick County Board on 26th April 1911. Printed by the Limerick Echo, this ephemeral handbook provides a detailed insight into the governance and administration of Gaelic games at county level in the early twentieth century.

The work includes regulations governing championships, tournaments, and eligibility, together with organisational structures and named officers of the Limerick County Board. Of particular interest are the listings of Limerick Football and Hurling Championship winners, as well as references to competitions such as the Murphy Cup, offering valuable primary material for the study of early provincial G.A.A. activity.

Such county-level rulebooks were produced in small numbers for internal use and survival rates are consequently low. Examples rarely appear on the market, especially with intact wrappers.

A scarce and evocative survival, illustrating the grassroots organisation of the G.A.A. in the years preceding Irish independence.
