With manuscript note on verso from Harry Kernoff to Brian from his Studio at 13 Stamer Street, Dublin, dated Oct. 4, 1952. He refers to his book ‘Thirty-Six Woodcuts’ published the previous year “this woodcut not in the book” and concludes by stating he is getting in touch with ‘Cab Maher of ... re books of woodcuts for sale.” Some sun-tanning. In very good condition. Rare woodcut.
