If you have rare books, manuscripts, archives, or printed material that you are considering selling, De Búrca Rare Books would be pleased to hear from you. We regularly purchase important Irish books, antiquarian books, signed first editions, manuscripts, photographs, archives, and historical ephemera.
To help us assess whether the material may be suitable for our stock, we kindly ask that you first provide a list of the items you wish to sell. Your list should include the basic information outlined in the checklist below. Providing these details allows us to quickly determine the relevance, rarity, and potential value of the material. Once you have compiled your list, please send it to us by email or telephone. Photographs can also be helpful, particularly of title pages, signatures, or bindings. After reviewing the information, a member of our team will contact you within approximately 1-2 working days to discuss the material further and advise on the next steps.

If you have rare books to sell, we ask that you provide us with a list of your books. Because we need certain basic information to help us determine whether your items are of interest to us, please be sure that your list includes all of the information in the checklist below. Once you have reviewed this information, please compile and send us a detailed list of your books by email, fax or phone. Upon receipt of your list, a member of our staff will contact you within about 2 to 3 days.

- Title
- City of publication (Dublin, London, New York, etc.)
- Name of publisher.
- Year(s) of publication. Please be sure to include all years listed on the copyright page.
- Additional information such as Binding description, condition of dust jacket or is the book signed or inscribed by the author or previous owner?
