Bound in contemporary full polished calf. Covers framed by double gilt fillets; spine divided into six panels by five gilt raised bands; title and volume number in contrasting green and burgundy morocco labels in the second and third, the remainder lavishly tooled in gilt; board edges ruled in gilt; splash-marbled endpapers. Joints a trifle rubbed. All edges marbled. A fine attractive set. Scarce.
