London: T. Fisher Unwin, Ltd. Adelphi Terrace, 1908. Revised edition. Large post octavo. pp. xiv, [8], 9-301, [1]. Title printed in red and black. Blue green cloth, with gilt-stamped design by Althea Gyles on upper cover and spine and gilt rose to lower cover. A very good copy.
A beautiful early twentieth century edition of the poetry of this foremost figure of twentieth century literature, in the preface to this edition, Yeats, writing in the third person, remarks “this book and ‘The Wind Among the Reeds’ contain all of his published poetry which he cares to preserve”.
Based upon the revised edition of 1899, this is the sixth impression of that edition.
[L4 Yeats]
