Finely bound by Sotheran in full levant morocco, covers framed by a single gilt fillet surrounding an inner gilt floral panel of Shamrocks and tulips with green and red morocco onlays, enclosing in the centre a gilt coronet of Earldom of Suffolk held with Earldom of Berkshire surmounting in gilt ‘SB’. Spine divided into six panels by five gilt raised bands, title and author in gilt direct in the second and fourth the remainder with double gilt fillet borders and floral onlays of red morocco; board edges ruled in gilt; wide gilt doublures; green moiré silk endpapers; blue, black and blue double endbands.
