Printed from an authentic manuscript, and now first published by the present Earl of Clanricarde. London: Printed by J. Hughs, near Lincoln’s-Inn-Fields: for R. and J. Dodsley, at Tully’s Head in Pall-mall, 1757. Elephant folio. Large paper copy (283 x 445) pp. xx, 443, [1], 65, [1]. Contemporary full calf, covers framed by double gilt fillets and an inner blind floral roll. Spine divided into six panels by five wide gilt raised bands, title in gilt on maroon morocco label in the second, gilt armorial badge of the Duke of Leinster in the first, the remainder tooled in gilt to a centre-and-corner design; board edges and turn-ins gilt; marbled endpapers; red and gold endbands. Occasional mild foxing. All edges marbled. Minor surface wear to cover and letterpiece. A very good copy.
