Dublin‟s contribution to science, literature, music, commerce etc. Amongst the illustrators are Harry Kernoff, Flora Mitchell, Seán O‟Sullivan and Estella Solomons. The entire edition is said to have sold out within four days. This is one of the most substantial works printed by Colm O Lochlainn. His advertisement states: “From Cover to Cover, the Civic Week Handbook was produced complete at the Sign of the Three Candles, Fleet Street, where every printer is an artist, and every artist a craftsman; where the word impossible is unheard, and the phrase good enough is unknown”
