An interesting association copy. Grace, Lady Clanbrassil (1743-1813), was the daughter of Thomas, Baron Foley of Kidderminster, by his wife, Grace Granville, daughter of Lord Lansdowne. She married James Hamilton, Earl of Clanbrassil, Viscount of Limerick, and Baron of Claneboye in 1743, but had no children. A friend and correspondent of Mrs. Delany, she is mentioned several times in her ‘Memoirs’. Grace died in 1813. The ‘Clanbrassil’ title passed to Robert Jocelyn, Earl of Roden, who married Lady Anne Hamilton, sister of James, Earl of Clanbrassil.
