Contents: Popular English retelling of Karl Spindler’s memoir of clandestine German naval operations in the Great War, best known for his command of the disguised freighter Libau (masquerading as the Norwegian Aud) in the abortive 1916 arms-running mission to Ireland on behalf of Roger Casement. Includes action chapters on decoy tactics, patrol evasion, and coastal rendezvous, adapted from Spindler’s German narrative for a general readership.
