It contains at least seven languages, is well illustrated with half-tone and line material. It includes a fold out map of the Roadways in Ancient Ireland to illustrate O Lochlainn‟s own contribution of that title. It has two titlepages (in Irish and English), and two frontispieces (portrait of Eoin MacNeill and University College Dublin).
