The meeting between The Beatles and Muhammad Ali remains one of the most iconic moments in popular culture. On 18 February 1964, just days after arriving in America, John Lennon, Paul McCartney, George Harrison and Ringo Starr visited a young Muhammad Ali, then known as Cassius Clay, in Miami Beach before his world heavyweight title fight with Sonny Liston. Photographs from the encounter captured two global phenomena at the very start of their legendary careers.
