Loeber M93.
Story of an English girl who moves to Connaught with her family, where her father hopes to make his fortune. She gives a fairly naive picture of social life, consisting of tea parties and military balls. A love affair comes to nothing. The landing of the French in Killala Bay in 1798 is noted but seems to have little effect on the story. Eventually the family move back to England, since the Irish venture failed financially.
