[Dublin], n.d., c.1918. Single leaf, printed on one side in two columns divided by a rule. Drop-head title. Four stanzas with repeating chorus beginning “So, Up De Valera! He’s the champion of the right”. 247 x 207mm. In very good condition.

“When we were little children, Johnnie Redmond was a fool;”. References to Ringsend and Boland’s (stanza II), the Defence of the Realm (stanza III), and Sir Douglas Haig (stanza IV). Old vertical fold; light toning, small nicks at head, short closed tears at upper margin; a very good survival of street literature. Scarce.
